ENTRACK's Mission
ENTRACK is a European Union-funded initiative under the LIFE programme, dedicated to supporting rural municipalities and regions in advancing their clean energy transition plans and strategies.
By strengthening the energy policy capacities of eight small- to medium-sized rural municipalities across the Mediterranean, ENTRACK aims to accelerate progress toward climate neutrality.
Empowering Communities
The project empowers local authorities to collaboratively design socially inclusive energy policies that directly address the specific and urgent needs of citizens, with a particular focus on vulnerable communities.
Tools & Framework
To achieve this, ENTRACK provides regional and municipal policymakers with scientific and technical expertise, practical tools, and a structured methodological framework for developing and implementing effective social energy policies.

A key component of ENTRACK is its training programme, designed to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of local governments and policy actors.
Policy Insights
This structured online learning experience enables participants to gain valuable insights into the energy policy landscape, financial opportunities at local and EU level, and best practices for designing and implementing socially inclusive energy strategies.
Targeted Learning
The programme is tailored to the specific challenges identified by municipalities, ensuring practical and impactful learning. It is specifically designed to address the most pressing challenges identified through knowledge gap assessments conducted among participating municipalities, ensuring that the courses are directly relevant to stakeholders' needs.
